Man Is Freed in Houston After Months of DNA Tests

The state of Texas has a long history of pride in its legal system. Even more pride in how it holds the record for the most executions, and that their aggressive action in crime prevention is the way to go. Texas leads the nation in cases in which convicted men have been exonerated through DNA tests.

Hello? This is a big problem, and once again Texas example is an embarrassment. Big boots, big hats, and big mistakes, that are costing lives. We humans are far too fallible to carry out executions. Who do we think we are? And if we are a people of intelligence, how can we not see why this needs to stop? Some will call me a bleeding heart liberal progressive, fine by me. I would call myself the one that listened that day in Sunday School when they taught us that God handles each and everyone of our judgment day.

Dionne Warwick: Big Radio’s Attacks on Me Aren’t Surprising

I would just like to know, how bad do these “artist” have it? Seriously! Didn’t look all that bad for Michael Jackson, least from the ariel photos of his rented little cottage. Wasn’t looking bad on mtv’s Cribs, with the pools, dozen cars in the drive-way and Cristal in the fridge. The private jets, limos, million dollar motor homes, and of course the internet runs rampet with the stories of gift bags, artist’s contractual requirements. How about all the clothes, and stuff they are given, in hopes someone will take their picture wearing their products (which the artists love to bitch about having their pictures taken).

In this economy, and the hell most of us have really suffered through…. screw you and your whiny ass about not getting your cut of a song played on the radio. The same radio play that got you to where you are, talk about ungrateful.

Shut up Dionne, and the rest of ya! Don’t waste our time! Want some pity? Get down here with the rest of us and walk in our footsteps, then maybe we might remotely care, but in all honesty, if you still bitched about it after walking my walk, I would just burn your cd’s.

Why do we expect one man to do what everyone in congress can’t

I really wonder why so many have the expectation that our President can or even should fix everything that is broken in this country. Sadly, I believe the reason we do this is because we have loss total faith in all our other leaders. Not to mention that the average American can’t name their congressional leaders, or state and local leaders. We hear about them during election time, and then most just somewhat disappear. These leaders share the lowest approval rating in history right now.

Lets face it, being in Congress is the best scamming job there is. Basically, they get people knocking on their door, loaded with gifts, money, trips, and whatever else just so they can “inform and educate” them on every issue under the sun. Add to that, 100% healthcare coverage (the best on the planet) for life. Not even going to go into everything else (Google it) or we would be here all day, sufficient to say it is ridicules.

How much is it costing to debate healthcare reform? I can’t afford my medications. The medication I need, I can not have, and all I can think about is what did it cost today to debate and do nothing?

Many argue that every person should and need to provide for themselves. Guess it is the logical conclusion of, “Survival of the fittest.” Maybe that is where I am missing it, because we hold so dear our principal of a free market capital system, it is that value I confused with the christian value of helping those who need help. Which one to pick, hum…

Portland Mayor Sam Adams in Car Accident

This man is a disaster looking for a place to happen. Is he on his one man campaign to be stupid as much a humanly possible. Not to mention becoming the one of the biggest embarrassments known to the gay community.

PORTLAND MAYOR SAM ADAMS IN CAR ACCIDENT

Portland Mayor Sam Adams was involved in a minor fender-bender yesterday evening. Adams, who drives a GMC pick-up, ‘T-boned’ another car, pushing it 50 to 70 feet in the parking lot of a toy store. A witness claimed to smell beer on Adams’ breath, but police found no reason to believe there was any validity to that claim.

The Oregonian reports: ‘After the accident, Reed said that Adams asked whether he was OK. Reed said he had some back and neck pain and went to the emergency room just to make sure he was all right. Schweitz, who had run to check on the victims, told police at the scene and The Oregonian on Monday, that he was two to three feet from Adams and smelled alcohol on the mayor’s breath. ‘It seemed like beer,’ Schweitz said. Adams, through his spokes”

Texas campuses may allow students to carry concealed weapons

What is it with people from Texas? How out of touch do you have to be to live in that state?

Texas campuses may allow students to carry concealed weapons: “Determined not to allow a repeat of the Virginia Tech massacre in Texas, sponsors of the bill insist that allowing responsible students and professors to secretly carry their weapons might deter a potential gunman from attacking a campus — or stop one who decides to open fire.

Just a little advice, “SHUT UP!”

Someone, for the love of god, please stop this girl. She is a sinking ship and someone is pouring water in. When this happen, and the following days I somewhat felt bad for her. Thought Perez Hilton went overboard with the question as well as his posted video comments. I now wonder if I was wrong.
