Last week I posted about a Catholic man who was arrested after sending a threatening email to two gay Connecticut lawmakers.

The legislators, state senator Andrew McDonald, and state representative Michael Lawlor, were instrumental in the states same-sex marriage battle,
but the threats made by Kane were over a church oversight bill that
would have altered the legal, financial, and administrative structure
of local parishes, giving local parishioners more control. Catholics
turned out to protest the bill in mid-March, after a push from local Bishops.
At least one newspaper saw Catholics using this as an excuse to
exercise their anger over the states same-sex marriage decision,
targeting the two gay lawmakers.

The content of the email from Kane was revealed in court today, Fox 61 reports. Kane wrote:

‘You better hope myself and other Catholics dont find out where you
live, cause theres hell to pay for your attack on the church.
(expletive) off. God hates gay sex.’

Earlier reports by the New Haven Advocate that the threats were specific death threats and contained the word ‘kill’ may have been misreported, Fox 61 told Towleroad. The lawmakers reportedly received thousands of emails from around the country.

What is this world coming to? Just today I had a conversation with someone about my life and all that stuff. One of the questions I was asked is how I felt about my life. Did I feel that living here in Seattle was a more accepting feeling. Guess, I answered too quickly.

Today I now feel violated. Feel something I have always worried about and now I don’t have any idea what to think or feel. Just knowing how my many members of my family feel about me is something I struggle with. The reactions of others from my former life in Arizona has always bothered me. Course, i always kinda felt like there was nothing I could really do about it.

Things that have happen to me, that lead to feelings and thoughts that I have really fought to not remember are in the fore front of everything now.

Why is this happening? How can people say hate crime legislation isn’t warranted. or that “homosexuals” are wanting “special” rights.

Think i am going to shut up right now, before I say something I shouldn’t. I can’t even describe how i am feeling right now

Face of Hate

Sadly, there are those out there that hate because the Bible tells them so.

This is Ken Hutcherson, he is the founder and senior minister of Antioch Bible Church. He has along history of threatening and bullying anyone that doesn’t think and believe what he does. It is not beyond him to lie to justify his position. He proudly leads a congregation of 3500. He has sparked hatred, hurt, and harm wherever he goes.

One thing I was taught, that God doesn’t care for those with ego’s. This guy (can’t really call him a man) boasts about his own ego and his importance.

Let me get this straight. This place won’t help or employ anyone they know to be gay, but when you call them and ask them to be removed from their mailing campaign they tell you that giving is something everyone needs to do. I am so biting my tongue at this very moment!
