Congress is broken, our government and our leaders are incapable of fulfilling their responsibilities. While they sit in their cozy warm offices, people out here are dying and they could careless. Billions have been sent to Wall Street, in time for them to cook the books again and pass out MILLIONS in bonuses. They enact a first time home buyer program that is blowing up in our faces with loop holes that are allowing four year olds to get get benefits.

All these cash for votes, opps…. clunkers programs continue to lead us down the road of disaster. The road of ignoring the elephant in the room, that of a out of control debit load and unemployment that is forcing the foreclosure rate to climb beyond the point of no return.

Reality is, healthcare and cash for clunkers are not feeding people or keeping the roof over their heads. Unemployment is our number one problem, as it directly effects when the real issues that need to be corrected are addressed. Without people working, debit can not be paid down, taxes can not be paid, hello it isn’t that difficult to understand.

Now this poor woman, trying to do the right thing gets smacked for working, doing anything she can. The powers to be basically penalize her by cutting her benefits nearly in half. Let’s not even get into the unemployment extension that is being held up because these freaks can’t agree on what account to use. WHAT DO YOU CARE, ITS NOT YOUR MONEY ANYWAY!

Seems Rush Limbaugh is not at all too happy with losing his chance at being allowed into the big room for NFL owners.  And he isn’t standing for it either!  It is someone else fault, and their name is Rev. Al Sharpton. 

Course, all of this comes with the threat of a lawsuit between Rev., Al Sharpton and Rush Limbaugh.  Rush Limbaugh made claims that Rev. Al Sharpton had “a leading role in the 1991 Crown Heights riot” and the “1995 Freddie’s Fashion Mart riot.”

Now, the Rev., Al Sharpton of course had to come out in his own defense and for the most part called Rush Limbaugh a liar, since he was not even there for either incident.  Not that he didn’t show up after the fact and added a little fuel to the fire.

Now, I am against anyone taking advantage of others. But, the FTC & the Federal Government is way over stepping their area of responsibility. This is just another attack on free speech and civil rights. This is the Patriot Act of the internet. Yes, this sounds like a nice thing they are doing to protect people but it is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and nothing more. The federal government can’t do the job it is already charged to perform and now they want to go out and start controlling the internet. What is happening here folks? This is crazy!

Stupidity running rampent

This is why Glen Beck, and all the others like him are dangerous. They a spoon feeding people with lies and limited information. Being a citizen of this country takes real responsibility. Sadly, all too many of our citizens can not, or more to the point will not read. They got out of school and stopped learning.

If you are going to pick up a sign and march in defense of anything, you should at least know what it is. Otherwise you look like these people, and how can anyone take your message seriously if you can’t even explain it?

What in the hell…..

Has anyone even read this healthcare bill? No, I am not talking about what someone in your church sent you in a email, or a friend cc’d you on a email from you don’t know who it came from originally. Have YOU, actually sat down and READ it? Do you know what it says? If you answered no, then shut the hell up and read the damn thing. Stop this domestic terror of acting like mindless, lazy, followers and grow a pair and read it for yourself. If you can not do that, turn in your voter registration card, just do mankind the service of shutting up.

You can’t fix stupid!

What are we teaching our children? Call it being an American, how can you when you are screaming about something you have not even read? That isn’t American, that is just plain stupid. Allowing Glen Beck, Rush, MSNBC, Fox, your “minister”, to tell you what something says without reading it and knowing for yourself is criminal. Citizenship is not easy people, you actually need to do something about it. You need to earn it and protect it everyday, and going to a town meeting and screaming, chanting what you have been told to say is not being a citizen, it is being a cheap vinyl recording. If that is your definition of being a citizen, do the right thing and please keep your stupidity to yourself. You should have no rights, no get your ass back into the field and pick something.

When will I learn? For me, that is very rhetorical to say the least. Not sure why I always feel like I need to build a team of people to make things happen. Others typically screw everything up more then they help, least in my experience. Maybe it is this stupid concept I have that if people come together for the cause, anything can be done and everyone will benefit. Granted, money I am sure helps with all this. Money has been another issue that has eluded me my entire life (a topic for another time).

Been trying to work with some people lately on a project and just finally realized that they are no where nearly as dedicated or focused as I am for the success of this. And that I really need to cut my losses and just do it myself. If it succeeds then it is all me, and if it fails, it is all me. Not as if I haven’t experienced that a few hundred times. Not sure why this bothers me so much and actually hurts on some level. But it is what it is and I cannot keep holding myself back for others. I need to get on with getting on.

What am I?

I so hate feelings, and emotions too. Thought I had learned how to control them, and I am really learning that is just not true. If anything, I am learning how badly I am at controlling them. Trust me, it totally sucks! Last couple weeks have been a bit of a challenge for me, and it is driving me crazy to say the least.

One thing I have been fighting with is this damn perfectionist thing, or otherwise called procrastination. They do go hand in hand together. Constantly I fight with this and I don’t know why. Last couple months I have been non-stop working on this new company. It finally “launched” two days ago, and it should have launched like five weeks ago. Just kept working on this and that, and these things haven’t even made it onto the site yet. Because I think they aren’t ready, and of course I am completely wrong about all of that. It has only caused me to make more mistakes and screw ups. Forced me to be upset with others and blah, blah, blah.

My new goal is just to get things done today! Something is better then nothing, and it isn’t like I can’t go back and fix anything I screw up anyway. Man, it is so frustrating!

This is really a stupid argument.  If you are going to buy into this reasoning, why isn’t the RNC working to eliminate this burden for small business in regards to everyone?  If small business did not have to pay for these benefits for everyone think of all the other taxes the government could charge them then.  Remove this burden from small business for everyone.

PORTLAND MAYOR SAM ADAMS IN CAR ACCIDENT

Portland Mayor Sam Adams was involved in a minor fender-bender yesterday evening. Adams, who drives a GMC pick-up, ‘T-boned’ another car, pushing it 50 to 70 feet in the parking lot of a toy store. A witness claimed to smell beer on Adams’ breath, but police found no reason to believe there was any validity to that claim.

The Oregonian reports: ‘After the accident, Reed said that Adams asked whether he was OK. Reed said he had some back and neck pain and went to the emergency room just to make sure he was all right. Schweitz, who had run to check on the victims, told police at the scene and The Oregonian on Monday, that he was two to three feet from Adams and smelled alcohol on the mayor’s breath. ‘It seemed like beer,’ Schweitz said.
